Interestingly enough, Dividend of Indolence shows up as doing two damage in my "weapons" pane, too. Perhaps that's why Covetous Spite is charging on Dividend of Indolence attacks?

Design documentation says this is intentional, Covetous Spite charges MP per attack even if the attack fails.

Whether it should be changed is another discussion.
