Faction Mechanics: Can setting an Unaligned SH not be suicide?

Unless you're a Nexus Champ, you're probably not spending all of your time trying to maintain MO between -20 and +20.

From what we understand of the lore, the neutral powers are pretty chill with that. There's not really any punishment for utilizing your free will--it's pretty much the whole gist of being Unaligned to begin with.

So why does this happen?
- Because your alignment does not completely embody your faction's ideals, the Elder Powers are displeased; you take 80 points of damage! This was enough to kill you! (2022-05-08 15:16:03).
Can we give unaligned factions a break on the one thing that's supposedly in their favor (i.e. not being held up to strict moral ideals and expected to follow dogma to merit access to their powers)?

From a lore perspective, transcended characters shouldn't be punished for their MO.
Still punishable by death tho.

Implemented in the last patch.
