Skill: Stepping of the Corner

With enhanced senses being removed from void walker, the interaction with Stepping of the corner isn't an issue anymore. Reduce Corner step from 2 AP to 1 AP (effectively 0.5 AP with ether step)

This is depressing to admit but probably true. Really Stepping of the Corner even with that would be a trade-off at best for hunting since you don't have to enter/exit buildings (nice, that's 2 AP saving a find, with Strike of Kain too that cheapens killing someone a lot), but you can't know about anything going-on outside and free kills outside are ultimately pretty significant. Also it helps VW be a bit more efficient making trips to nearby resource points which is nice.

The issue that drove this change wasn't due to Enhanced Senses, it was the ability of one player to wipe hunting opportunities for the entire game.

well it was more like two dozen or so vws

who all had es

and 0.5 ap indoor movement

honestly who thought that was a good idea

generally concur with either giving them normal movement back or a lesser form of es

Scent of Blood
The Void Walker's drive for finding prey has honed their senses to look for wounded prey.
The Void Walker will see any hidden character in the tile below 100% HP, and be able to know if there's any target below 50% HP, insode or outside.
