DRAFT Gameplay: Void Worm

A new titan-scale wandering monster, the Void Worm travels between planes consuming mana from, and physically destroying, magical Fonts. Suggestions for rhe monster's behaviour and characteristics:
  • Attracted to the plane which currently contains the most Fonts (or most MP stored in fonts, or similar bias).
    Will move around consuming fonts and characters/NPCs in its path.
    Every Font consumed will increase the size/power/damage of the monster.
    Will drain MP in combat in addition to dishing out damage.
    Will retreat inside mounds if badly wounded (mounds act as a barricade) or full after eating.
    Will leave the plane only when a maximum size is reached (or similar).

Fonts are already drained pretty regularly. I don't see a reason to disincentivise the font creation/ley line creation skills by making them even more maintinance intensive.
