Before Brother's Bond, how it works and I assume for other pets as well, is that you set pet names in Character Settings page. When you summon sprite 1 it's named "Bob", sprite 2 is named "Joey" etc.
With Brother's Bond the first batch of summoned sprites are all named Bob, the second bunch of sprites are all Joey etc.
Correct behaviour should be that the first sprite in batch 1 uses the first set name, the second sprite uses second name, then the sprites from next batches should use names in the proper order as well.

Added image of 2 batches of 2 sprites each sharing names, and not using names 3 and 4 as I set them in Pet Names.
