I use the Crimson Gladius, so maybe that's the difference? Maybe it only gives bonus melee damage?

When in the same location as a character, their ranged defense and melee dodge get displayed on their character page regardless of their hidden or invisibility status. I imagine that's kind of an annoying one to fix. Maybe there should be a list of people who were spotted by the character in last 24...
