Yo gang, I threw together this trajectory for a void walker, mainly because I think they're cool. Have I made any glaring oversights? (Order not set in stone)

Psychometry won't be doing you any favors here. The skill isn't very useful if you're not doing anything with infusion.

Why do you care what their morality is? You're a demon; you can attack anyone.

Enervate+Rend Flesh. Increases the effectiveness of your blood claws attack.
I'd ditch Blood Taste, hide, and Psychometry and get these two instead.

Also, Enhanced Senses first. It will help you hunt and get to level 22.

Because if you want Planar Protection, you have to care.

I found precision of the assassin to be really useful early on for breaking the soak of Adamant Kinship Way of Earth ES's that sit around outside. Its nice to be able to kill any target you find rather than doing 3 dmg a hit on them.

Also are you intending to be factioned or feral? If you are factioned, ditch sense MO + planar protection, you can easily get potions of that in any decent size faction. Hide + Advanced hide is a poor man's invisibility, and blood taste isn't really necessary because you will either be dead or full health after most encounters

My VW finds blood taste very helpful when facing off against a sleeping Clockwork Blader.

Yes, it definitely helps against sleeping targets with innate auras. My VW also uses it to aid in his Elysium hunts, since he can heal all that planar damage fairly easily -- not a problem with the build above, but useful if you forgo Planar Protection.

Order is still up for contention, but do any of you have any suggestions for alternate skills? A lot of the level 1 skills were put in to pad out around XP boundaries.

Switch sense morality at T1 to sense magic, drop the planar protection and join a faction. Or, counter planar damage with blood taste.

Get First Aid with that 10 cp that's left over from sense morality, and advanced hide with that 20 cp from planar protection (if you really plan on sleeping somewhere that is not your SH.

In addition, you should use the character planner on top of the page. You have too much CP at lvl 20 to choose void walker.

You don't need psychometry either.

Short list: If you have a stronghold, forget PP. If you don't have, forget psychometry. (even if you do have, forget psychometry). If you have a SH, you might not need hide. If you take hide, take adv. hide.

Collect badges/grind for badges worth 20cp on T1 or T2 so that you can have 20 additional cp at level 20, meaning you can immediatly get 90 cp worth of T3 skills when you descend.

So you all agree it's in the Tier-1 Skills that I take before Pariah happens?

Another build, more refined, taking into account the majority of the things people have said.

Code:
1   10   Hand to Hand Combat
2   0   -- Saved --
3   20   Martial Arts
4   0   -- Saved --
5   0   -- Saved --
6   30   Advanced Martial Arts
7   10   Sense Magic
8   0   -- Saved --
9   0   -- Saved --
10   0   Enervate
10   20   Blood Claws
10   20   Combat Mastery
11   20   Strong Attack
12   0   -- Saved --
13   40   Blood Taste
14   0   -- Saved --
15   40   Rend Flesh
16   0   -- Saved --
17   40   Destructive Blow
18   0   -- Saved --
19   0   -- Saved --
20   0   The Stepping of the Corner
20   60   Ether Stepping
21   30   Assassin's Edge
22   30   Enhanced Senses
23   0   -- Saved --
24   60   Precision of the Assassin
25   0   -- Saved --
26   60   The Stepping of the World Gate
27   0   -- Saved --
28   0   -- Saved --
29   90   The Stepping of the Stone
30   30   Elite Attack

Well, now it's certainly more effective and more streamlined.
Kinda like what I'd do if I made a VW.

If you want to (and this is only my opinion), you could switch the Destructive blow out, and replace it with just about anything you want.

Hellfire, hide&adv hide, that Planar protection, First Aid, etc etc.

I wouldn't remove destructive blow if you want to be an ace wardbasher. Also I would max out possible damage with assassins cruelty and infinite attack.

I also would probably pass on the full travel tree unless it is something you are REALLY into. Corner and Ether stepping combined are the best travel skill in the game as is.

this should leave you some CP to play with.
