On a simi-related note a Closed and Locket Door found the knob to be very unfriendly in it's quest to get soaked in booze. Not the attacks, those were expected but the aura that made it waste an extra AP per search drove it away.

Ack, it seems Mr. Trauma needs to visit his roots for a couple of days.

If any friendly infuser would like to come along and help us keep down that damn shield that keeps popping up, please contact me.

We can generously compensate you for this service.

If you see any further violence by Invisible Danger members against patrons of the Oaken Knob, I would be grateful if your staff would let me or another iD leader know. We do not wish to hinder your efforts unless there is a real need for us to do so.

I wish you much luck in your business!

Jared was visited my a strange traveller in the night who brought wonderful gifts and left him with a cryptic message

Quote:
nnnnnnnvvvissibilnnnnn nnnnvinerable nnnnnholyaffinithynnnn

I feel compelled to do this sinister creatures bidding but I fear for my life if I commit an error. Can anyone help me decipher its distorted message?

I suspect it wants me to make batches of potions. Ext Invisibility, Greater Invulnerability and Holy Affinity, perhaps?

My mind is cloudy from the encounter

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am happy to report that an outpouring of infusion support for the Knob should see no disruption to our regular service while Mr. Trauma is on leave.

This is good, but honeyed words have been passed before to no avail. Although, certainly, the degree of killing by ID has steadily decreased since SDMs ill-fated adventure into Mason Point. If hostilities remain reduced. Im sure Mr. Trauma will be happy to welcome back ID regulars.

Danny Trejo recognizes an olive branch when he sees it, and sets Invisible Danger guys to neutral. Maybe this will turn out okay.

Maybe things get interesting while Senor Jefe Feliz Arboles takes a little time off. Maybe Danny Trejo got ideas, you know? Danny pretty sure he can take care of things just fine.

Unfortunately I will have to amend our policy. Sad

The presence of the demon Hungerer, and *only* hungerer, in the Knob will not be tolerated by Invisible Danger. Everyone else is off limits.

Sorry, but we really don't have a choice if he keeps using it as a staging point for breaking into people's Strongholds.

I personally would amend it even further to say that the practice of using the Knob to stage against neighbors should not be tolerated, whether it's being done by Hungerer or anyone else.

Sure, that would seem reasonable, but we're trying to be careful not to let things get out of hand. So for now it's just Hungerer, and if we experience more problems then we'll review our policy again.

While Happy is away we turned the ol'timey sailor pub into a cheesy night club.

Stop on by for fruity cocktails and awful dance music

a closed and locked door is really enjoying it's time at the Knob.

a closed and locked door is an amazingly effective healer, too. A bar employee apparently got into Happy Oaken Trauma's supply of mind-altering solvents and huffed the lot, then proceeded to lightly traumatize a poor, virtually defenseless demon half to death. But my new best friend FOREVER, Mr. Door, saved my bacon, thanks to Blood Taste.

I believe a closed and locked door is possibly the greatest living disciple of Asclepius and Hippocrates in the Nexus, for providing healing to poor Fred when all other healers failed him.

Also, hey, Fred's still alive and drinking. I have to say, this particular stay at the Knob has exceeded all my expectations. I look forward to karaoke night.

I reveal twice a day, every day, last time she was in there was the 2nd of May. I can also see several of your members in the establishment so I assume they can relay the validity of this information to you.
